Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This policy explains how Captain on the Bridge, Inc. collects and uses personal data when you visit captainonthebridge.org or ask us for a demonstration of Bridge. It covers this website only.

Who we are

Captain on the Bridge, Inc. ("we", "us") operates this site and is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For any question or request about your personal data, email hello@captainonthebridge.org.

Information you give us

When you request a demonstration on our platform page, we collect:

  • your full name
  • your job title
  • your company
  • your company's annual revenue range
  • your work email address

We need these details to respond to your request. If you would rather not use the form, you can email us instead.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics

Every page on this site loads Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies in your browser and collects information such as your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you to us. We use it to understand how the site is used.

When you successfully submit the demo request form, we also send Google Analytics a record that a request was made, including the company name and revenue range you entered. We do not send your name or email address to Google Analytics.

HubSpot

Our platform page loads HubSpot's tracking script. It sets cookies in your browser, including one called hubspotutk, and records the pages you visit on this site.

When you submit the demo request form, the form sends your details to HubSpot together with the value of your hubspotutk cookie, the address of the page, and the page title. This links your request to the browsing activity HubSpot has recorded for your browser on this site, so we can see which pages you viewed before and after contacting us.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps standard server logs of requests to the site. These typically include your IP address, the page requested, your browser type, and the time of the request.

Google Fonts

Our pages load fonts from Google's servers. When your browser fetches them, your IP address is sent to Google.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your demonstration request
  • evaluate whether Bridge is a good fit for your company
  • communicate with you about Bridge
  • understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
  • keep the site secure and working properly

Who we share it with

We use the following service providers, which process personal data for the purposes described in this policy:

  • HubSpot, which receives demo requests and stores them in our customer relationship management system, and provides the tracking described above. See HubSpot's privacy policy.
  • Google, which provides Google Analytics and Google Fonts. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Netlify, which hosts the site. See Netlify's privacy policy.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law.

International transfers

Our service providers may process personal data outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.

Cookies and how to control them

Google Analytics and HubSpot set cookies in your browser when our pages load. Google Analytics cookies are set on every page. HubSpot cookies are set on our platform page. You can control them in several ways:

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, including cookies from specific sites.
  • Google Analytics opt-out. Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
  • HubSpot cookies. HubSpot lists the cookies it sets. You can block or delete them through your browser settings.

If you block cookies, the site will still work, including the demo request form.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you
  • correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • delete your personal data
  • stop contacting you about Bridge

To make a request, email hello@captainonthebridge.org. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. Depending on where you live, the law may give you additional rights, and we will respond to requests as that law requires.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site does not currently respond to those signals. You can still control cookies as described above.

Children

This site is intended for business audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
